Message from the Pastor
Welcome to CFC! We are here for the glory of God and the advancement of His kingdom. It is my sincere desire that you experience God's rich blessings here and that you will come to know Him better each and every time you worship with us.
We are passionate about teaching and learning more about our Savior. I personally believe that it is the primary responsibility of every pastor to provide that opportunity for those under his watch care (Ephesians 4:11-12). We also believe that it is every Christian’s responsibility to do the work of the ministry and to share Christ and His goodness at every God given opportunity (Matthew 28:18-19). Every Christian should be equipped and constantly ready to give a reason for the hope that is in them, with meekness and a healthy respect for our awesome God (1 Peter 3:15).
At Community Fellowship Church we long to see every person come to know this Creator and to grow in a relationship with Him. This is God's wonderful plan: that we know Him and make Him known. In this adventure we learn all He has planned for our good and His glory.
If this is what you mean by church… Welcome Home!

Is Your House one of:
Beatitude Living?
|

"The Beatitudes"
(Can they be for Today?)
For the next several weeks we will be looking at the Beatitudes. These texts from Matthew 5 are perhaps the most scrutinized, praised and berated passages in all of Scripture. Can we be expected to live the kind of life that is described in this cry for blessings? Why do they look so upside down... it appears there is nothing there that by most anyone's standards could make humans happy, yet that is what the word "Beatitudes" means: "Blessing" or "Happy". Could this paradox be a cruel deception, or is there really a blessing for those that follow Christ in this seemingly crazy and weird approach to happiness?
What difference would it make in your house, IF it were a house of Beatitude living?
